How long have you been with Fletcher Jones Motorcars?
I've been at Fletcher for six years this February
What inspired you to enter the automotive industry?
My stepfather always had an interest in cars. He would often bring home muscle cars and it was fun learning about them. Even more fun knowing more about engines than my brother and his buddies growing up! My biggest love for this type of work is the clients. I love people & pride myself on customer service, which I clearly learned from my mother. I do all that I can to make sure each and every client is taken care of and love getting to know each and every one!
Why Mercedes-Benz?
After my first year living here, I was rear ended. The car that hit me was traveling approximately 60 mph. I walked away from the scene with only minor injuries. My decision was made that day, I will never drive anything but a Mercedes-Benz, as it clearly saved my life!
What brought you to Huntington Beach?
Six years ago, I packed up my two kids and lizard and moved here from Lake County, which is close to Napa. I had an opportunity to better myself and my kids. We came here only knowing each other, living out of a Uhaul for the first few days. We finally found a house that we call home and couldn't be happier. Lots of ups and downs, but happy that my journey brought me here.
What do you like most about Huntington Beach?
Huntington Beach is amazing. My kids love their school and have made some very solid friendships. We live blocks from the beach but don't visit nearly enough. I enjoy living in a town where everything is so centrally located. You can ride your bike anywhere!
What's life like outside of work?
I have an amazing son who is my best friend and my biggest helper. He has done so much to help his little sister and I. They are both wonderful kids. Although they were dealt a tough card, they have been brave and resilient through it all. Now I work for the number one dealership in the nation, and while I'm at work, they help out with housework when I can't be there. I'm a very lucky mommy!
Do you have hobbies? Car-related or otherwise?
My son LOVES racing. He started racing go karts when he was four. My daughter is now old enough to start as well, but I'm not sure I am ready for that! In the new year, we have made plans to visit more places and do more things outside of the house. We are excited for new adventures to unfold.
What's a random fact about yourself?
On Sundays during football season, I refuse to leave my house. I have a new-found love for NFL. Go pack go!
